About Troop 491

Troop 491 is a faith-based youth-led troop. We currently have over 50 registered scouts. We also have 89 Eagle scouts.

We are very active and go on monthly campouts!

Our Story

Troop 491 was founded in 1991 at the April Sound Church. In 2004 we moved into a former fire house in Montgomery. After we moved in, we added rooms to the fire station and now it is our well-loved scout hut, and we would love for you to come and visit us.
